The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results of the CA Intermediate May 2026 examination, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of candidates across the country. Along with the results, the institute has also announced the list of top rank holders.Shardul Shekhar Vichare from Dombivli, Maharashtra, emerged as the national topper, securing All India Rank (AIR) 1 with 531 marks out of 600. He scored 88.50 per cent in the examination. Abhinav Satheesh secured AIR 2 with 530 marks, translating to 88.33 per cent, while Teerth Jain claimed AIR 3 with 519 marks and 86.50 per cent.Candidates who appeared for the examination can now access their scorecards through the official ICAI result portal, caresults.icai.org, by entering their registration number and roll number.The result is an important milestone for Chartered Accountancy aspirants. Candidates who have cleared the Intermediate level can now move ahead towards practical training and eventually become eligible for the CA Final examination.The CA Intermediate examinations were conducted between May 5 and May 15, 2026. Group I papers were held on May 5, 7 and 9, while Group II examinations took place on May 11, 13 and 15. Candidates had the option of appearing for one group or both groups.To download the result, candidates need to visit the official ICAI result website, click on the CA Intermediate May 2026 result link, enter their registration number and roll number, and submit the details. The scorecard can then be viewed, downloaded and saved for future reference.
