ICSE ISC results 2026: For millions of students across India, the wait for ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) results 2026 is nearing its end. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has indicated that results may be released within this week, with updates to be published on its official website cisceboard.org.A senior CISCE official, speaking to TOI Education on condition of anonymity, said: “focus is on results will be out within this week, and preparations are aligned accordingly.” The official further clarified that no final date has been confirmed for the declaration of ICSE and ISC results, and that updates will be issued only through official channels including cisceboard.org.Fake notice causes confusionA fake notice circulating on social media claimed that results would be released on April 22 at 3:00 PM, creating confusion among students. The CISCE later clarified that the notice was not authentic and that no such schedule had been finalised.Expected timeline for ICSE and ISC resultsAccording to media reports and previous trends, ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) and ISC (Indian School Certificate) results 2026 are likely to be declared between the last week of April and the first week of May. In previous years, CISCE has released results around the same period, including between April 30 and May 6 in 2024 and 2025.Previous performance trendsLast year, results for ICSE and ISC showed strong outcomes, with pass percentages above 99 per cent in both examinations. Over 250,000 students appeared for ICSE and nearly 100,000 for ISC examinations conducted by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations.CVE results to be released alongsideAlongside ICSE and ISC results, the Council will also release results for Certificate of Vocational Education (CVE) Year 12. This allows students pursuing vocational courses to receive results at the same time as board candidates.How to check results onlineOnce declared, students can check results on cisceboard.org using their unique ID (UID) and Index Number. After logging in, they must select ICSE or ISC to view their scorecards, which can be downloaded or printed for reference.Examination scheduleThis year, ICSE examinations were conducted from February 17 to March 30, while ISC examinations were held from February 12 to April 3. With examinations completed, students are now awaiting results expected within this week.CISCE has advised students and parents to rely only on official updates issued through cisceboard.org for any information related to ICSE, ISC and CVE results. The council has not announced any offline distribution of results at the time of declaration. Schools will issue original mark sheets after verification procedures are completed in due course following the online publication of results.Students are advised to keep login credentials ready in advance to avoid delays during peak result traffic on the official portal cisceboard.org when results are published online.
