Indian Air Force MTS Recruitment 2026: The Indian Air Force has issued the notification for direct recruitment to Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) Group C Civilian posts under Advertisement No. 02/2026. Eligible Indian citizens can submit offline applications for recruitment at the Air Force Stations and Units listed in the official notification.The recruitment drive offers six vacancies for the MTS post under HQ Maintenance Command. Candidates must send their completed application forms by post to the notified address. The last date for receipt of applications is July 27, 2026, which is 30 days from the publication of the advertisement in Employment News/Rozgar Samachar.Vacancy details and eligibilityThe recruitment is being conducted for six Multi-Tasking Staff posts. Applicants must have passed Class 10 from a recognised board. The prescribed age limit is 18 to 25 years, with the age calculated as on July 27, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided according to the applicable government rules.No application fee has been prescribed for candidates belonging to any category. Selection process and written examinationSelection will be based entirely on a written examination. Before issuing call letters, authorities will scrutinise applications to verify age, educational qualification and supporting documents.The written examination will include General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English and General Awareness. The question-cum-answer paper will be available in both English and Hindi. Candidates shortlisted after the written examination will be required to produce original certificates along with copies of the documents submitted during the application process for verification.Application process and required documentsCandidates must submit their applications in the prescribed Annexure-I format. The application should be typed in English or Hindi and must include a recent self-attested passport-size photograph. Applicants are also required to enclose two additional passport-size photographs matching the one affixed to the application form.Supporting documents for educational qualification, age, technical qualification, experience, PwBD status and caste, wherever applicable, must be attached. OBC applicants should submit a valid non-creamy layer certificate, while EWS candidates must provide the prescribed Asset Certificate.Applicants should include a self-addressed envelope bearing a Rs. 10 stamp and clearly mention the post and category on the envelope. Applications received before publication of the advertisement or after the closing date will not be accepted. The completed application form should be sent to the Commandant, IAM, IAF, Vimanapura PO, Bangalore – 560017. The Indian Air Force has stated that it will not be responsible for postal delays.
