Krunal Pandya has cleared the air after a viral video from the IPL 2026 clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru sparked speculation of a serious fallout with Nicholas Pooran. The drama began during the match at Lucknow’s Ekana Stadium when Krunal bowled two sharp bouncers at Pooran. After taking a single, Pooran exchanged a few words with the RCB all-rounder at the non-striker’s end. At that point, it looked like just another heated IPL moment. But things gained attention again after a fresh video surfaced online showing Pooran animatedly talking to Krunal after the game and even grabbing him by the collar before pushing him away lightly. The clip quickly went viral, with many fans believing there was genuine tension between the former teammates.Soon after, Krunal shut down all rumours with a light-hearted Instagram post featuring a picture with Pooran.“No lafda (no trouble), only love. Congrats to my bro @nicholaspooran on completing 100 IPL games. Proud of you, brother, many more to come. Btw, how was the bouncer ?” Krunal wrote.Pooran also responded in the comments to make it clear there was no bad blood between them.“Only love here, guys. One of my best Mates,” Pooran replied.Former Teammates, Friendly BanterThe two players know each other well from their time together at Lucknow Super Giants during IPL 2023 and 2024, which likely explains the playful nature of the exchange. In the match itself, LSG defeated RCB by nine runs via the DLS method after a brilliant century from Mitchell Marsh. Another major talking point was Prince Yadav bowling Virat Kohli for a duck early in the chase.
