Lucknow: Iskcon Lucknow will organise “Anandam Mahotsav – Phoolon Ki Holi” at its premises on March 8.Briefing mediapersons on Friday, temple president Aprimay Shyam said, “The day-long festival will feature a range of cultural and devotional activities aimed at families, youth and children. Devotional singing sessions and bhajan clubbing will be among the main attractions of the event.” To engage younger audiences, a live performance by the rock band Mukunda, which will present devotional music in a contemporary style, has also been scheduled, he said. The festival will also include dance-drama performances depicting episodes from the life of Lord Krishna. These presentations will be performed by devotees associated with the temple’s cultural group. Several competitions for children are also planned during the event. In addition to the cultural programme, stalls featuring devotional items, books and other products will be set up for visitors. Prasad will also be served to devotees during the festival, he added.
