ISRO ISTRAC Recruitment 2026: The ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), Bengaluru, has invited online applications for recruitment to multiple technical, scientific and support posts under Advertisement No. ISTRAC:02:2026. The notification was released on June 27, 2026, and the application process opened the same day. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online until July 20, 2026.The recruitment drive covers Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant-A, Technician-B, Draughtsman-B and Cook-A posts. Although the appointments are temporary, the organisation has stated that the posts are likely to continue. Candidates selected through the recruitment process may be posted anywhere in India, depending on organisational requirements.Application schedule and fee detailsOnline registration commenced at 10 am on June 27, 2026, and will remain open until 11:55 pm on July 20, 2026. Applications will be accepted only through the online mode.Candidates applying for Technical Assistant and Scientific Assistant posts are required to pay an application fee of Rs 250 along with a processing fee of Rs 500, taking the total payment to Rs 750. For Technician-B, Draughtsman-B and Cook-A posts, the application fee is Rs 100 and the processing fee is Rs 400, making the total payment Rs 500. The processing fee will be refunded only to candidates who appear for the Written Test or Computer Based Test.Vacancies, eligibility and age criteriaThe age limit for applicants is 18 to 35 years as on July 20, 2026. Age relaxation will be provided in accordance with the prescribed rules.The recruitment includes eight vacancies for Technician-B (Electronics Mechanic), one each for Technician-B (Carpenter), Draughtsman-B (Civil), Draughtsman-B (Mechanical), Technical Assistant (Mechanical), Scientific Assistant (Mathematics) and Library Assistant-A, six for Technical Assistant (Electronics), four for Scientific Assistant (Computer Science), and two for Cook-A. Educational qualifications vary by post and include ITI, engineering diploma, first-class BSc, graduate and master’s degree in Library Science, and relevant work experience for Cook-A.Selection process and application procedureThe selection process comprises a Written Test or Computer Based Test, followed by a skill test wherever applicable, document verification and a medical examination.Applicants must complete the online registration within the notified period, retain the registration number generated after submission and keep a printed copy of the completed application form for future reference.
