Punjabi singer Jasmine Sandlas has sparked concern among fans after a video from her recent concert in Dehradun went viral online. The clip captures a tense moment near the stage after her performance, as she interacted with the audience while accepting flowers and greeting fans.Jasmine had performed at a free concert held at Parade Ground, where thousands gathered to watch her. During the show, she performed several of her hit songs, including Sip Sip, Shararat, and Lawan. Local reports also suggested that the event attracted a larger crowd than a nearby political rally addressed by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. While the massive turnout initially dominated discussions around the concert, attention soon shifted after footage of Jasmine’s interaction with fans began circulating on social media. In the video, enthusiastic fans standing in the front row can be seen cheering, holding out roses, and reaching toward the singer. Jasmine steps closer to the barricade to accept the flowers and acknowledge those waiting to meet her. However, according to the social media user who shared the video, the situation quickly escalated as the crowd pressed in around her. The post alleged that some members of the audience touched the singer inappropriately during the interaction. “Dhurandhar singer Jasmine Sandlas was mobbed and inappropriately touched by the public. She was performing in Dehradun,” the post read.It further claimed, “After she finished a song, the crowd in the front row cheered, offered roses and reached out to shake hands. She stepped down a little to accept the roses and greet fans, but some people showed their true colours and touched her inappropriately.” The person who uploaded the clip also condemned the alleged behaviour and urged people attending public events to treat performers with respect and maintain appropriate boundaries. As the video spread across social media, many users expressed support for Jasmine and criticised the alleged misconduct. Several commenters stressed that artists deserve to have their personal space respected, even when they choose to interact closely with fans after a performance. The incident has since overshadowed what had otherwise been a successful and well-attended concert. Earlier during the same event, Jasmine had shared a joyful personal milestone with the audience by inviting her fiancé, Shekhar Chaudhary, on stage and announcing their engagement publicly. She also proudly showed off her engagement ring as the crowd erupted in cheers. Videos of the proposal celebration had initially gone viral before the later footage shifted the focus to the disturbing incident near the stage.
