Lucknow: Senior BJP member and veteran of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, Vinay Katiyar, on Tuesday raised concerns over alleged irregularities in the administration of the Ram Temple and welcomed govt’s decision to initiate an investigation.Katiyar said he has visited the temple only once since its inauguration. During that visit, he said he asked his son to observe the arrangements and assess whether everything appeared to be functioning properly.Katiyar alleged that while making inquiries at the temple premises, he encountered a person whose conduct raised concerns. He claimed that when he sought information about certain administrative matters, he got an unsatisfactory response. According to him, despite his long association with the temple movement, some individuals associated with the temple’s management neither recognized him nor maintained any communication with him.He further alleged that the behaviour of certain persons involved in the temple’s administration was inappropriate and that their continued presence could lead to problems. Katiyar claimed that within approximately 15 days of his visit, irregularities began to surface. He questioned the alleged disappearance of offerings and other items received at the temple and sought clarity on who was responsible for overseeing such matters. He added that he possesses extensive knowledge of the city and believes the source of the problems can be identified.
