Lucknow: KGMU has launched a specialised training programme on minimally invasive spine endoscopy procedures for pain management.Organised by the pain medicine unit of the anaesthesiology department with the anatomy department under the Indian Society of Pain Clinicians (ISPC), the programme trains doctors in advanced endoscopic spine interventions.Experts said the procedure helps patients with lower back pain and sciatica by avoiding major surgery, enabling faster recovery and often discharge within a day.The workshop was chaired by Dr Sarita Singh and conducted by Dr Manish Singh and Dr Abhishek. Lectures on endoscopy were delivered by Dr Vishnukumar and Dr Brihaspati Tiwari.
