Lucknow: Lucknow Development Authority has approved construction of Aditi Apartments, a large-scale affordable housing project comprising 1,392 flats in the Anant Nagar scheme.Ceared by LDA Vice-Chairman Prathamesh Kumar, the housing complex will have an 18,411-square-metre group housing plot in Adarsh Khand of Anant Nagar and aims to cater to homebuyers from different income groups.Of the total flats, 412 will be one-bedroom units measuring 38.25 square metres each, while 980 will be two-bedroom apartments with a carpet area of 50.10 square metres.The complex will consist of five residential towers and provide parking facilities for 545 cars through basement and stilt parking arrangements.A park and green belt covering around 7,555 square metres will be developed on the complex, said Kumar.Chief engineer Manvendra Singh said the 1-BHK flats will have two balconies each, while the 2-BHK units will feature three balconies. The project will be equipped with high-speed lifts, rainwater harvesting systems, power backup, stormwater drainage facilities, community spaces, pedestrian pathways and other civic amenities.
