Lucknow: The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) will launch its Varun Vihar and Naimish Nagar housing schemes, with online registration opening for more than 3,100 residential plots in the first phase.The plan was finalised by LDA vice-chairperson Prathamesh Kumar on Monday.Plots measuring 72 sq m to 450 sq m will be offered across two sectors in each project.Varun Vihar, planned over 6,580 acres along the Agra Expressway, is expected to provide housing for 3.5 lakh residents and boost industrial, healthcare, educational and logistics growth.In phase one, LDA will offer 1,926 plots in Varun Vihar, including 1,218 in Kailash Khand and 708 in Kashi Khand.Naimish Nagar will spread across about 3,600 acres along IIM Road. A total of 1,179 plots will be offered in the first phase of Naimish Nagar.Officials said both projects will feature modern infrastructure and extensive green spaces. Varun Vihar will also include a central park, golf course and a 300-acre logistics park.
