Lucknow: Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) will create more parking spaces across the city to address shortages in busy areas. A proposal to identify new sites and invite fresh tenders will come up before the executive committee (EC) on Monday.The proposal includes identifying locations, fixing reserve prices and inviting bids from private operators. Existing parking contracts will also be reviewed before fresh tenders are issued.LMC officials said the move aims to curb illegal parking and ease congestion in markets and commercial hubs.The committee is also expected to approve the minutes of earlier meetings, including the revised budget meeting for 2025-26 and the budget meeting for 2026-27.
