Lucknow: A 41-year-old railway loco pilot died during treatment on Wednesday, a day after a heavy tree branch fell on him in Cantonment when he was returning home from duty. His family alleged that instead of rescuing him, several bystanders recorded the incident on their mobile phones.The deceased, Sushil Kumar, a resident of Udayganj, is survived by his wife and daughter.According to his brother-in-law Rajesh, Sushil was returning home on his bike around 5.30pm when he stopped near Balmiki Crossing, Suddenly a thick tree branch crashed on him, leaving him critically injured.An Armyman passing by finally came to help and took him to a nearby hospital. After receiving first aid, he was referred to the PGI Trauma Centre where he died during treatment on Wednesday evening.
