Lucknow: The oil marketing companies (OMCs) state level coordinator (SLC) office of UP has claimed that on average, 8 lakh LPG refills are being delivered daily across the state, and a backlog of approximately 5.4 days is being cleared as per the scheduled booking list.Last month, the backlog of LPG was around six days.SLC Sanjay Bhandari said that currently, LPG distributors and bottling plants hold a combined product day-cover of approximately 4.3 days. Furthermore, stocks at the bottling plants are being continuously replenished from loading locations and import terminals.LPG services are being provided to approximately 4.88 crore consumers through 4,143 distributors and 36 bottling plants in the state.He added, “Currently, 13,168 retail fuel stations (OMCs: 12,331 and private: 863) and 28 supply locations/depots are operational in the state.On average, two crore litres of petrol and 3.3 crore litres of diesel are being made available daily.“At present, sufficient stock of petrol and diesel is available. All retail outlets are functioning normally, and there are no restrictions on sales. The combined stock availability at our depots and retail outlets is sufficient to cater to 14 days of average nozzle sales for both petrol and diesel,” he added.
