Lucknow: The Mahanagar police booked a man for allegedly physically assaulting his minor daughter and threatening to kill her and his wife during a domestic dispute on Wednesday.In a complaint filed by the accused’s wife, she alleged that the man took away the keys to their house and went to the New Hyderabad area. She said that when she and her daughter went to collect the keys, the accused physically assaulted the child.The complainant further alleged that after the assault, the accused handed over the keys and fled from the spot. She also said in the FIR that while attacking the girl, he threatened to kill them if they were seen there again.Police officials said the complaint was received and a case registered under relevant sections on the directions of senior officers. Further investigation is underway, said SHO, Mahanagar, Akhilesh Mishra.
