Lucknow: A heated argument over Rs500 took a deadly turn in Mohanlalganj area when a 17-year-old boy allegedly beat his father to death with a stick, police said on Tuesday. The juvenile accused was taken into custody and produced before the Juvenile Justice Board.According to police, the altercation began after the father asked his son for Rs500 to visit relatives. The boy refused and the situation escalated when the father allegedly taunted him.The teenager attacked his father causing severe injuries. He collapsed on the spot and died before any medical help could arrive. The minor told police that he contributed significantly to the household. He claimed he bought household appliances with his earnings, but his father father often sold them to buy alcohol.
