Lucknow: Amid the power outage crisis in Lucknow with the ongoing heatwave, the managing director of Madhyanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (MVVNL), Riya Kejriwal has deputed senior officials at sensitive 33/11 KV substations across the city to ensure uninterrupted power supply and quick redressal of complaints.According to an official order issued on Friday, senior engineers and technical officers have been assigned to substations in Lucknow central, Gomtinagar, Janakipuram and Amethi distribution zones. The officials will remain stationed in their respective areas every night from 9pm to 6am till May 31.The move comes after repeated incidents of transformer overload, feeder tripping and power disruptions triggered by excessive electricity consumption during peak hours. MVVNL has instructed officers to closely monitor load conditions, maintain uninterrupted functioning of feeders and transformers and immediately resolve consumer grievances.The order also directs officials to ensure adequate manpower and maintenance vehicles at substations.MVVNL said special monitoring teams and WhatsApp groups have also been formed for real time coordination and faster fault resolution.
