Lucknow: Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) on Saturday warned students against making a special mark, writing phone numbers and addresses in answer books. The management said that this will be treated as a use of unfair means in examination and subjected to action as per rules.“Students have been directed not to write their mobile numbers, phone numbers, roll numbers, addresses or any special mark of identification on the inner pages of answer books or within answers. Roll numbers or details asked are permitted only in the designated space on the cover page,” said AKTU official.The university said any student found making such markings inside the answer book will face disciplinary action under the Unfair Means Regulations. The rule covers attempts to influence or contact the examiner by mentioning address, contact details, mobile number or through any representative for undue favour.
