NEW DELHI: Norway conferred its highest honour, Grand Cross of the Royal Norwegian Order of Merit, on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, a day after Sweden bestowed its top recognition on him, marking his 32nd global award.PM Modi said, “This honour is dedicated to the people of India and is a tribute to the enduring friendship between India and Norway. It reflects our shared commitment to global progress”.Lauding the international honours for PM Modi BJP praised him as India’s most popular Prime Minister who continuously figured among the most popular world leaders and said it underlines the high place India has come to occupy on his watch.“It is a matter of pride for every Indian,” BJP spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi told reporters.
