Lucknow: Northern Railway general manager Rajesh Kumar Pandey visited Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur and Hardoi railway stations on Thursday as part of a comprehensive inspection of the Moradabad Division.The inspection focused on passenger facilities, station redevelopment works and progress of projects being carried out under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Pandey was accompanied by Moradabad DRM Vinita Srivastava and other senior officials of the division.At Rampur station, the general manager reviewed development works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and inspected the ticket booking office, passenger waiting hall and other facilities. He later visited Bareilly station, where he inspected the station premises, parcel office, booking office, platforms, circulating area and passenger amenities.At Shahjahanpur station, Pandey reviewed reconstruction works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme and directed officials to ensure quality execution and better facilities for passengers. During his visit to Hardoi station, he inspected the station premises, platforms, cleanliness arrangements and passenger amenities, while stressing safety, cleanliness and timely completion of redevelopment work.Earlier, Pandey held a review meeting with divisional officials at the Moradabad divisional office. He assessed ongoing development projects, passenger facilities and preparations for he Ardh Kumbh 2027 in Haridwar.He also conducted a window trailing inspection from Moradabad to Lucknow, reviewing railway tracks, signalling systems, overhead equipment and safety arrangements at level crossings.
