Lucknow: Amid scenes of grief and anxiety at the Trauma Centre of King George’s Medical University (KGMU), seven of the nine people injured in Monday’s fire incident were discharged later in the evening after receiving treatment.A total of 24 victims were brought to the Trauma Centre following the blaze. Of them, 15, including 12 men and three women, were declared brought dead on arrival.Those who lost their lives in the incident were identified as Sagar, Nilesh, Anamika, Sayam, Anucha, Sukhmani, Aditya Shrivastava, Jyoti, Bhavishya, Abdul Rahman, Suraj Shah, Shahzan, Jaineel Chakraborty, Mohammad Ammar and Sumalya Bera.Doctors said seven responded well to treatment and were discharged after their condition improved.Those discharged included Gaurav Kumar, Bhuvan Shrivastava, Abhishek, Shailendra, Pankaj Goswami, Pankaj Joshi and Mohammad Asif.Two victims, Luvpreet and Jayant Gupta, continue to remain admitted as they sustained serious injuries.
