Lucknow: The Oudh Bar Association (OBA) on Friday expressed concern over security arrangements on the premises of the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court.The association has sent a letter to a senior judge, citing a recent incident. According to the letter, on April 10 at around 4:30 pm, a woman with her child reached the upper floor of a court building and attempted to jump. Though she was saved by security personnel, the incident raised questions about the security arrangements on the court premises.In a letter to the senior judge, general secretary, OBA, Lalit Kishore Tiwari stated that the roof and upper floors of the court building should be restricted for the public and all access points be locked. It also demanded installation of nets or barricades in spaces between the lawyer chamber blocks.The association said that a permanent police response team should also be deployed on the campus.
