Lucknow: The Bengali Welfare Society, popularly known as ‘Bangali Adda’, will organise ‘Rabindra Sandhya – Season 2’ at Visvesvaraya Auditorium on Sunday to commemorate the 165th birth anniversary of Rabindranath Tagore.The evening promises to be a rich blend of music, dance, and dramatic storytelling inspired by Tagore’s timeless creations.“The celebration will feature a mesmerizing live concert of Rabindra Sangeet, bringing alive the poetic depth and emotional resonance of Tagore’s compositions,” said member, Bangali Adda, Sanjay Kumar Banerjee.“Adding to the cultural richness, a dance drama presentation based on his literary works will transport the audience into the world of Gurudev’s philosophy and artistic brilliance,” Banerjee said.One of the key highlights of the evening will be the “Rabindra Samman”, where distinguished personalities from different walks of life will be felicitated for their contributions to art, culture, and society.
