NEW DELHI: AAP MP Raghav Chadha, in his third video message on Sunday, said, “To my colleagues in AAP who were forced to issue videos saying that, Raghav Chadha failed to raise Punjab’s issues in Parliament, here is a small trailer. Picture Abhi Baaki Hai.”“Punjab isn’t a talking point for me. It is my home, my duty, my soil, my soul,” he added further. The video comes amid the backdrop of an intensifying war of words between AAP and Chadha.Punjab functionaries accused him of betraying the state that elected him, and Chadha alleging a “coordinated campaign” to silence his voice. Also read: Raghav Chadha made to stand like rooster, beaten in ‘secret mansion’: Ex-AAP leader“Ghayal hoon, isliye ghatak hoon (I am wounded, therefore I am lethal),” Chadha said in the video.Punjab AAP functionaries, including finance minister Harpal Singh Cheema, state party president Aman Arora, and chief spokesperson Kuldeep Singh Dhaliwal, on Saturday accused Chadha of failing to raise matters concerning Punjab in Parliament. They alleged that issues like the state’s pending funds with the Centre — including Rs 8,500 crore under the rural development fund (RDF), Rs 60,000 crore in GST losses, and Rs 1,600 crore in flood relief — were not taken up, despite repeated communication.Calling the “silence” a “betrayal” of Punjab’s people and mandate, AAP functionaries said his failure to raise farmers’ concerns and the plight of flood victims reflected a “complete disconnect from ground realities.”
