Lucknow: Rampur secured the top position in the state in the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) rankings for April, scoring the highest marks of 138. Pilibhit stood second, while Amethi and Shravasti shared the third spot in the monthly rankings.Chief minister Yogi Adityanath launched the IGRS in 2017 to address residents’ grievances through a digital platform. Every month, the performance and service delivery of 49 departments are reviewed. These departments collectively administer 109 programmes and schemes aimed at public welfare.Rampur district magistrate Ajay Kumar Dwivedi said that, in line with the chief minister’s vision, complaints received from residents are acted upon promptly and the concerned departments are directed to dispose of cases within the stipulated timeline. Rampur has held the top position for the past four months. Pilibhit scored 137 marks, while Shravasti and Amethi secured 136 points each. Hathras, Bareilly, Hamirpur, Badaun, Barabanki and Ballia also featured among the top 10 districts out of Uttar Pradesh’s 75 districts.Through IGRS monitoring, residents can submit feedback directly to the chief minister’s office and receive time-bound responses from district administrations and the headquarters of various departments in Lucknow. “The majority of complaints received in the past month were related to revenue matters or criminal proceedings,” a senior officer said.
