Lucknow: A delegation of Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), led by cabinet minister Anil Kumar, met UP energy minister AK Sharma on Tuesday and urged an immediate enhancement of the capacity of 33/11 kV electricity substations in the rural areas of western UP.The team highlighted the growing power demand in the region and pressed for urgent upgradation of the substations to ensure reliable electricity supply.The delegation included Lok Sabha MP Chandan Chauhan, Chaprauli MLA Ajay Kumar, RLD state president (trade wing) Rohit Agarwal, former minister Yograj Singh and mandal president Prabhat Kumar.Sharma assured the RLD leaders that state govt would take prompt action, keeping public interest as the top priority.
