Lucknow: Gorakhpur Police on Saturday announced a reward of Rs 10,000 each for arrest of absconding suspended basic shiksha adhikari of Deoria, Shalini Srivastava, and clerk, Sanjeev Singh, in case of abetment to suicide by teacher, Krishna Mohan Singh (37). Gorakhpur SSP Kaustubh said four special teams had been formed to raid Deoria, Ballia, Lucknow and Prayagraj to locate and arrest the two accused, absconding since the case was registered.FIR was lodged on Feb 22 at Gulriha police station in Gorakhpur on complaint of the deceased teacher’s wife, Gudiya Singh, who accused Shalini Srivastava, clerk Sanjeev Singh and a retired headmaster, Anirudh Singh, of abetting the teacher to suicide by issuing threats.The complainant alleged that the named officers demanded Rs 16 lakh from the teacher in the name of restoring his appointment and harassed him continuously, which allegedly drove him to take the extreme step.Police had earlier arrested the third accused, retired headmaster Anirudh Singh. Police also recovered DVR from the official residence of the suspended BSA. Officials said the footage from Feb 20 showed Krishna Mohan Singh, along with Aparna Tiwari and Omkar Singh, present at the BSA office.
