MP Board Class 5 results 2026: The Madhya Pradesh School Education Department has released the Class 5 board-pattern examination results, recording a pass percentage of 95.14 per cent across the state. The announcement was made at Vallabh Bhavan in Bhopal by School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh.The results indicate a strong performance by students, particularly among female candidates, who achieved a higher pass percentage compared to their male counterparts.Gender-wise performance highlightsOut of all students who appeared in Class 5, 96.19 per cent of female students passed the examination, while 94.15 per cent of male students cleared it. The figures reflect a consistent gap favouring female students.A total of 1,276,404 students appeared for the Class 5 examinations. Among them, 924,783 students were from rural areas, while 351,621 students belonged to urban regions.Top performing divisions and districtsShahdol division emerged as the top-performing division in the Class 5 results. It was followed by Narmadapuram, Indore, Chambal, Jabalpur, Bhopal, Gwalior, Ujjain, Rewa and Sagar.Among districts, Narsinghpur secured the first position. It was followed by Dindori, Balaghat, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Chhindwara, Indore and Barwani.Examination coverage and infrastructureThe examinations were conducted across a large network of schools and centres. In total, students from government schools, private institutions and madrasas participated. Under this provision, students will only need to reappear for subjects in which they were unsuccessful, as part of the department’s examination framework.
