RTE Maharashtra lottery result 2026: The RTE Maharashtra admission lottery for the 2026–27 academic session was conducted at 11:00 AM on April 6 at Vidya Nirbhaya in Pune. The computerised draw determined the allocation of seats for 2,89,609 applicants under the 25 per cent reservation quota in private schools.As of 12 noon, the lottery process has concluded, and parents are awaiting the release of results on the official portal. Authorities have enabled live tracking of the draw through an online streaming link, allowing applicants to follow proceedings in real time.Lottery process and result accessThe lottery was carried out through a centralised digital system to ensure transparency in the selection process. Parents and guardians were able to watch the live proceedings through the official streaming link: https://rteinfomaharashtra.com/rte-lottery-live-streaming.Following the completion of the draw, the list of selected candidates is expected to be published on the official admission portal: https://student.maharashtra.gov.in/adm_portal/users/login within a few days. Candidates will also receive SMS alerts on their registered mobile numbers once results are declared.Application rules and eligibility checksThis year, the earlier restriction limiting school selection within a one-kilometre radius has been removed. Applicants who registered for RTE 25 per cent admission can now access schools within 1 km, 1 to 3 km, and beyond 3 km categories.Guardians have also been given the option to edit submitted forms through an ‘unconfirm’ facility in their login. Authorities have advised applicants to correct any errors promptly, as incorrect or incomplete information may lead to cancellation of admission.Applicants were required to upload all necessary documents during submission. Officials have stated that incomplete documentation at the verification stage can result in disqualification, even if a student is selected in the lottery.Key instructions to parentsParents were instructed to verify address details and Google location coordinates before final submission. Once submitted, certain details such as the child’s date of birth cannot be modified.Applications submitted for the same child more than once shall not be entertained, and the duplicate application(s) shall be disqualified from the draw process. Moreover, only nationalised bank passbooks are considered acceptable forms of documentation for proving residency, whereas gas books are no longer accepted.In the case of disabled children, at least 40% disability certification is mandatory for qualification.
