Lucknow: Demanding the dissolution of the Ram Mandir Trust over charges of corruption and theft of donations, Aam Aadmi Party MP Sanjay Singh said that he had submitted a complaint against Trust general secretary Champat Rai to the Ram Janmabhoomi police station in charge of Ayodhya for filing of an FIR.“The entire country is shocked by this mega scam of donation theft. Revelations after revelations are coming out and the corruption is being exposed. The dacoity taking place in the offerings and donations received in the name of Lord Ram has the full protection of the BJP govt and their investigative agencies,” Singh said.Hitting out at the Centre for misuse of agencies like ED and CBI, Singh said that BJP has been using them against the Opposition but has not reacted to the theft of hundreds of crores from the Ram Temple’s donation box.Singh further lashed out against BJP for calling everyone who questioned it “anti-Ram.” “When we raise questions, we are abused. When Akhilesh Yadav ji raises questions, indecent remarks are made on his family. However, are Vinay Katiyar, Sant Nitya Gopal Das’s successor Kamal Nayan Das, BJP leader Rajneesh Singh and Santosh Dubey associated with the temple movement also anti-Ram? Now even your own people are saying that massive corruption and theft has taken place,” he said.Singh also announced the sixth phase of the party’s padyatra, which will take place from Azamgarh to Jaunpur between Aug 16 and Aug 23. The main issues that the party will be undertaken during the yatra are Lekhpal and police recruitment, unemployment, untouchability, discrimination and issues concerning backward classes and Dalits.
