Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) on Saturday announced a collaboration with six institutions that will provide training in soft skills, performing arts, and artificial intelligence to the youth.The collaboration is with Bharatendu Natya Academy (BNA), Held High Foundation, Magic Bus India Foundation, The Apprentice Project, Oracle, and the Raina Education Foundation.UPSDM director Pulkit Khare said the initiative would help the youth prepare for future. He explained that through the tie-up with BNA, youths would get exposure to stage and communication skills, and creative expression, which would open new opportunities for arts-based employment. “Online courses developed by Oracle, as its digital learning partner, will be made available to trainees through the Mission’s website,” Khare said.Officials said that in Prayagraj and Varanasi divisions, special emphasis would be on English speaking, critical thinking, and problem-solving.In Ayodhya division, trainees will be introduced to AI and machine learning-based technologies through collaboration with The Apprentice Project.
