NEW DELHI: The government on Tuesday appointed senior IAS officer Lokhande Prashant Sitaram as the new chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) amid a major row over the board’s new On-Screen Marking (OSM) system.He will succeed Rahul Singh, who was transferred out hours earlier along with then-CBSE secretary Himanshu Gupta.(This is a developing story)
