Lucknow: UP BJP chief Pankaj Chaudhary on Monday said the derogatory remarks by SP’s Hamirpur MP Ajendra Singh Lodhi on PM Narendra Modi have proved that Akhilesh Yadav-led outfit is a party of goons and abusers.“The PM does not belong to any party but is the pride of the nation. This insult by the SP MP is an insult to 140 crore people of India, an insult to the BJP, and a deep blow to democratic decorum,” Chaudhary said. He said the SP should immediately expel him or it will be considered that his remarks were made at the behest of the SP chief. He said that this is not the first time that SP members have resorted to such derogatory language. “Whenever public shows Samajwadi Party a mirror of defeat, its functionaries start using derogatory language,” he said. The UP BJP chief said his party will take action on the issue. “We are discussing this and will inform you of whatever decision the party takes. The use of such statements against the PM reflects their (SP) mindset,” he told reporters. The comment made against the PM, Chaudhary said, reveals SP’s desperation. “They (SP) are rattled in Uttar Pradesh. With the results from Bihar and Bengal, and the manner in which the public has defeated these parties, this is the language of their frustration,” he said.
