Lucknow: A 22-year-old man ended his life in Madiaon police station area of Lucknow on Friday night, with family members attributing the incident to prolonged distress over severe hair loss.The deceased has been identified as Salman Ali, son of Abid Ali, resident of Beligard Road. According to police, his body was found hanging from a rope inside a tin-shed room on the top floor of his house. The body has been sent for post mortem, and further investigation is underway.Family members said Salman was hearing and speech impaired and had been struggling with rapid hair loss for quite some time. The condition had reportedly caused him significant mental stress, leading to social withdrawal and reduced interaction with others.On Friday night, Salman went to the room on top and when he did not return for a long time, family members went to check and found his body hanging.Police reached the spot, inspected the scene and initiated proceedings. Salman’s father is a gardener employed in Maharana Pratap Park, said Madiaon police SHO, Shivavand Mishra.
