Tenkasi is a key Assembly constituency in Tamil Nadu, located in Tenkasi district, and is known for closely fought electoral contests. In the 2021 Assembly elections, S. Palani Nadar of the Indian National Congress won the seat, narrowly defeating Selvamohandoss Pandian of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam by a margin of just 370 votes.
