Lucknow: The relief from severe hot condition is likely to continue in the city as the weatherman has predicted a few spells of thundershowers between Monday and Wednesday.The Met department said a western disturbance over Afghanistan and cyclonic circulation from Rajasthan will bring the rainfall.“Next week is expected to begin with thunderstorms, accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 40-50 kmph,” said Mohammad Danish, senior scientist at the Met department.He said predicted possibility of light rainfall on Sunday in some parts of west UP. The system will gradually shift towards the central and eastern regions of UP from Monday.On Saturday, the maximum temperature in the city was 34.1 degrees Celsius, 5.3 notches below normal, while the minimum temperature was 23.1 degrees Celsius.On Sunday, the sky is expected to remain mainly clear, turning partly cloudy towards evening and night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to around 35 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
