The famed actress who will next appear in ‘The Odyssey’ as Penelope, recently opened up about how it was like for her to work alongside Tom Holland. During one of her latest interviews, she shared that the ‘Spider-Man’ actor was great to work with, and even called him her ‘dream son.’

While talking about playing Penelope, Telemachus’s mother, who is played by Tom Holland shared her experience of working with the fellow actor. The mother of two who is soon expecting her third child shared that Holland was great to work with, and that he is her dream son.She shared while talking to CTV’s ‘e-talk’ that, “Tom is like a dream son. And that, honestly, is kind of like the key to it. We have this amazing script, brilliant actors.” During the interview, which she was giving at the time alongside Holland also commented on how she wants her children to grow up to be like him. The 30 year old actor laughed at her comment and almost spit his drink out as soon as he heard her in one of the interview videos shared on the channel’s online page.She continued, “Well, first of all, I have to say as a mom in real life, I very much hope all of my children grow up to be as wonderful as my onscreen child.”

As to how it was like to film Christopher Nolan’s version of ‘The Odyssey’ by Homer, Hathaway could not have been happier. She commented about how she loved to work with Nolan, adding that, “I love Chris, and so I just feel like even though this was this big, epic movie, it was really grounded in, like, intimate appreciation of each other, respect for each other. I don’t think any of us wanted to let Chris down. So I think we all just kind of harnessed our highest strength and our highest passion, and we just tried to be an actor that was worthy of being in a Chris Nolan movie.”
About ‘The Odyssey’
The film revolves around King Odysseyues after the Trojan War. Played by Matt Damon, the king sets out for a journey that spans over 10 years in order to return home to his wife and son. During his journey, he is guided by the goddess of warcraft, Athena, while also encountering challenges across the perilous journey alongside his crew. The film will be released in theatres worldwide on July 17.
