Four people were killed and 20 others injured after a middle school student opened fire at a school in Kahramanmaras in southeastern Turkey on Wednesday, governor Mukerrem Unluer said. Unluer told reporters that a teacher was among those killed. He said the attacker was a student who used his father’s weapons, which he had hidden in a backpack, to carry out the shooting. On Tuesday, a 19-year-old former student opened fire at a high school in Urfa, injuring 16 people. In that case, the attacker killed himself as police tried to persuade him to surrender.More details awaited.
