Lucknow: A day after the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2025 results were announced, more success stories from Lucknow came to light. Among the achievers are siblings Aditya Hriday Upadhyay and Ayushi Upadhyay, alumni of Lucknow Public School, who secured All India Rank 154 and 361, respectively. Their success adds to the growing list of aspirants from the city bringing recognition through the prestigious examination.Aditya, who studied at the LPS Sector-I branch, did his intermediate in 2017 and pursued BTech from IIT-Roorkee. He was earlier selected for the Indian Revenue Service and currently undergoing training in the income tax department.“This journey required patience, consistency and belief in the process. I remained focused on my goal and tried to learn from every attempt and experience,” said Aditya His sister Ayushi, an alumna of the LPS South City branch, had secured 99.4% marks in the 2018–19 intermediate examination. She completed her legal studies at National Law University Delhi and is now practising at the Lucknow bench of Allahabad high court.“Civil services offer an opportunity to work directly for the society. My goal has always been to contribute to public welfare and bring meaningful change,” said Ayushi Another achiever, Priyasha Verma, secured AIR 324 in her fourth attempt. An alumna of City Montessori School and a graduate from IIT-BHU, she chose political science and international relations as her optional. “Clearing the examination in my fourth attempt taught me the value of perseverance. Staying disciplined and improving my preparation strategy made the difference,” said Priyasha
