Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) CEO Vivek Chandra Verma on Friday made a visit to the UIDAI regional office in Lucknow and distributed Offline Verification Seeking Entity (OVSE) certificates to representatives of seven companies registered for Aadhaar offline verification services. Verma said the service enables secure, seamless and privacy-friendly identity verification without sharing Aadhaar numbers, ensuring better data protection. He said that more institutions would adopt UIDAI’s digital verification ecosystem for efficient citizen services.
