Lucknow: UP govt has introduced a set of new rules and guidelines aimed at strengthening the implementation of recent criminal laws and enhancing efficiency in the justice delivery system.Officials said the Uttar Pradesh e-Evidence Management Rules, 2026, Uttar Pradesh Electronic Process (Issuance, Service and Execution) Rules, 2026, and Uttar Pradesh Community Service Guidelines, 2026 have been framed in line with Allahabad high court to support the enforcement of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.Under the e-Evidence Management Rules, a scientific and standardised system has been established for the collection, preservation and presentation of digital evidence in courts. The Electronic Process Rules introduce provisions for the digital issuance and authentication (e-sign) of summons and warrants, along with their service through email, mobile phones and messaging applications
