Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board has completed permanent recruitment of 40 Group B posts in 130 days. The task was pending since 2010.Several effective measures were adopted to ensure an impartial and transparent recruitment process, said chairman, UPPCB, Ravindra Pratap Singh.A key feature of the recruitment process was reform of the previous system. Govt engaged IIT-Kanpur with an MoU to conduct the written examination and constituted a committee headed by retired judge of the high court to oversee the interview process.Among the 40 selected candidates, 18 were educated at premium higher educational institutes like IITs.
