LUCKNOW: In another organizational reshuffle, the UP BJP on Thursday announced the presidents for five more districts including Varanasi and Gorakhpur Mahanagar.With this the party has changed all its presidents in the 98 organizational districts, a move which gains significance ahead of the assembly elections due early next year.The party replaced Varanasi district president Hansraj Vishwakarma with Ram Sakal Patel, a Kurmi, after the former was inducted in the council of ministers in the Yogi Adityanath government earlier this month.Likewise, in Gorakhpur Mahanagar, the UP BJP appointed Ramesh Gupta in place of Rajesh Gupta.In Ambedkarnagar, the party replaced Triyambak Tiwari, a Brahmin with Dilip Dev Patel, a Kurmi. The UP BJP decided to continue with its Chandauli district president Kashinath Singh, a Thakur.The party replaced its Deoria, district president Bhupendra Singh with Kali Prasad, a Dalit. Prasad won the Salempur assembly seat in 2017 UP polls.
