Lucknow: The postmortem report of the victim has revealed that he died of the gunshot injury in the head.According to the report accessed by TOI, a large and irregular wound was found on the upper portion of the face, extending from nose to the back of the head. The edges of the wound were torn and uneven, with internal bleeding underneath. Key parts of the skull, including the frontal bone and nasal bones, were missing.
Burn marks were found on both sides of the scalp, suggesting that the shot was fired from point-blank range. The report also noted a fracture in the lower jaw on the right side of the face, indicating additional trauma. It also confirmed that arms were severed below the shoulder joints while legs were severed above the knees. These cuts appeared to be made using sharp, heavy tools such as a saw. Doctors concluded that the head injury alone cause the death while the body was dismembered later.
