UX Tigers argues that AI’s biggest design failures are organizational, not technological – companies mandate AI adoption without providing guardrails, frameworks, or clarity on where it actually fits. Teams are stuck answering questions nobody has good answers to yet, like what a design review looks like when an agent has already generated four implementation-ready variants. The piece lands on a pattern showing up across UX research this year: roles are being stretched to cover AI oversight on top of existing work, producing burnout without corresponding quality gains. Nielsen Norman Group, Designlab, and others have independently reached similar conclusions in their 2026 state-of-UX reports. The bottleneck has moved from model capability to organizational readiness, and most companies haven’t caught up.
