Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath has appointed a high-powered committee to look into labour unrest in Noida since last week. The committee, which visited Noida on Monday, has been asked to speak with stakeholders and ensure industrial harmony and peace.The committee headed by the industrial development commissioner has additional chief secretary, MSME, and principal secretary, labour and employment, as members The labour commissioner has been appointed as member secretary.The committee includes five representatives of labour organisations and three representatives of industry associations as members. A govt spokesperson said the committee will look into the reasons for the unrest and submit its report to govt at the earliest.Industries minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi said the committee has been tasked with examining the issue on priority and submitting its report at the earliest, reflecting the state’s effort to resolve tensions through coordinated administrative and stakeholder intervention.It will meet very soon and discuss all aspects of the problem including wage revision if required. The best interest of all stakeholders will be ensured in an amicable solution, he said.
