Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday visited Medanta Hospital in Lucknow to enquire about the health of Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, president of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, and wished him a speedy recovery.During the visit, the CM sought information from the doctors about the health of the seer and received detailed information regarding his treatment. He also prayed for the mahant’s speedy recovery.“I also received information from the doctors regarding his health. and I pray that by the grace of Prabhu Shri Ram, he recovers soon,” Yogi wrote on X.The 89-year-old seer, who heads the trust overseeing the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, was admitted to the hospital on June 29 after being brought to the emergency department in an unconscious state.Director, Medanta Hospital, Rakesh Kapoor said, “Mahant Nritya Gopal Das is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) under the supervision of critical care specialist Dr Dilip and his team. He was diagnosed of a urinary tract infection which is being treated. In addition, a team of specialist doctors is monitoring his condition round the clock and providing necessary treatment.”
