Argentine YouTuber and content creator Gaspar Prim Díaz, better known to fans as Gaspi, has passed away. He was 23.Argentine streaming platform Blender confirmed the news of Gaspi’s demise and paid tribute in a post that read, “Thanks for your art, your magic and your sensibility, every one of us will miss you.“The YouTuber was among the six who died in a tragic helicopter crash in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, according to reports from CNN Brazil. The accident also claimed the life of American singer Oliver Tree and four others.As per reports, the Gaspi, Alex and others were killed after their helicopter collided midair with another on Sunday morning over Rio de Janeiro’s western zone. According to CNN Brazil, the aircraft was also carrying passengers Lucas Brito Chaves and Lucas Vignale, as well as pilot Alexandre Souza.The second helicopter involved in the crash was reportedly carrying only its pilot, Charles Marsillac, who is said to be an experienced and highly respected aviator.Emergency officials confirmed that all six people aboard the two aircraft lost their lives in the collision.Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are currently underway. Fire officials told the news portal that evidence from the accident remains scattered across hundreds of metres, and that video recordings and flight data will play a crucial role in determining what happened at the crash.The cause of the collision has not yet been established.Gaspi had become one of Argentina’s most prominent online personalities through his comedy sketches and social media content. With more than 2.8 million subscribers on YouTube, he built a massive following across Latin America.
