Lucknow: Deputy chief minister Keshav Maurya on Saturday directed officials to organise large-scale community yoga sessions and cleanliness drives at all Amrit Sarovar sites across the state on International Yoga Day on June 21.Maurya said the programmes should be conducted with extensive public participation to promote health, hygiene, environmental conservation and community engagement in rural areas.Accordingly, the rural development department has issued detailed guidelines to all districts. This includes active participation from local communities, school students, women associated with self-help groups, members of the State Rural Livelihood Mission, panchayat representatives, govt officials and other stakeholders.
