Chennai Super Kings’ top-order batter Ayush Mhatre has been ruled out of the remainder of IPL 2026 after sustaining a left hamstring injury during the match against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 18.The franchise confirmed the development in an official statement on Monday, adding that the injury will require a rehabilitation period of six to 12 weeks, effectively ending Mhatre’s campaign this season.“We wish Ayush a speedy recovery,” the franchise said in its statement on social media.The injury occurred while Mhatre was batting during the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad, though he had continued after the incident before further assessment confirmed the extent of the damage.More to Follow…
